I doodled this ages ago in my work notebook and really liked it so I ended up finishing it digitally to get some practice since I recently started doing digital art again. Starting my first real digital art piece in ages with a massive background, old drawing and lots of details to do was probably not the brightest idea I've had but in the end I feel it worked out fairly well and I learned a lot and picked up most things I knew before. It's a bit darker than I initially planned though, forgot my monitor is slightly brighter than most...
I also noticed that I'm really out of touch with my digital art side (or art in general atm) but I picked up most things again while working on this piece. I might go back and redo/improve this over time since I really would like to have a drawing of my warlock that I feel proud of.
I've barely ever done backgrounds either so please ignore my poor try and drawing a mountain top.
The character is Ziel, my Blood Elf Warlock from World of Warcraft. Currently running destruction ever since I finished the green fire quest so I thought some green fire would be perfect to add.
